Usually the drive along Vista Del Mar is spent looking at the ocean but this morning the soon to rise sun made me want to snap this pic looking east. During the day it’s the barren fenced off area that’s one long eyesore lying beneath the takeoff path of airplanes. At this pre-dawn hour it takes on a much more appealing view with ever so familiar Cali palm trees silhouetted against the clear morning sky.
It was goddamn cold this morning. Offshore breeze kicked the chilly factor up a notch. The session was ehhh. Caught enough to start the day off with a stoke but could’ve been better.
